The Egg and Sperm Race is a new science communication initiative aimed at engaging music festival audiences in some of the more interesting, and important, aspects of human reproduction.
It’s a really fun activity stall set up at music and science festivals around the UK.
We want to educate and inspire interest in key reproductive processes and reproductive health, with a strong focus on how research at the University of Edinburgh MRC Centre for Reproductive Health is working to develop new ways to diagnose and treat reproductive disorders and help ensure that all babies are born healthy.
See ‘The Importance of Sexual Health’ to read about the key messages we aim to communicate.
